It’s a 2016 Ranger 188 that I bought used. It’s scuffed up pretty badly, scratches and what not. Wasn’t sure I could buff or grind them out.

DA sander with 120g Al oxide discs, ibuprofen 200mgx2 every night. From my understanding the surface needs to be flawless. IMO, find someone to sand blast it, clean up scratches and shoot it yourself.

It is not better than painting. Wraps are generally for having graphics with advertising. They typically only last for 7-8 years if taken care of very well. On boats they will tear relatively quick bumping up against docks when tied up. I do wraps and would not recommend on a boat if you just want a solid color. You could get it painted cheaper and paint will last longer if done right.
