Was looking at some residential lots recently toying with the idea of building a small home. What’s the cheapest home method these days? Assume stick framing as this is what all the major builders are using. I would have thought a cinder block house would be cheap….

Currently looking into building a barndo on our new property. It sure doesn’t appear to be a cheaper route.

Not when people want all luxury upgrades in them. What used to be a living space slightly upgraded from a good camp is now bread and butter for an industry trying to capitalize on it.

Started out as an XL and has progressed to a Limited for likes. It can be done cheaper IF your wife doesn’t F it up with changes.
