Trump-backed conservative Nasry Asfura has just been declared winner of Honduras’ presidential election after prolonged vote count. Asfura secured 40.27% of votes, narrowly defeating Liberal Party candidate Salvador Nasralla (39.39%), who claims the election was rigged.
