Some credit to Loomis: revisiting trades this year

- Godchaux, we gave up a 7th
-Saunders for Fortner
- Vele, we gave up a 4th and 7th
- Asim Richards,we gave a 6 and got a 7th
- Ja’lynn Polk we gave up a 6 and got a 7th
- Shaheed, we got a 4th and 5th
- Penning, we got a 7th
- Godchaux has been pretty mediocre
- Fortner has been a godsend with McCoy being out, he’s earned himself a lot of $
- Richards has played well in a reserve role, good depth for cheap
- Vele looks legit and could be a key weapon for the future for cheap
- Polk, we’ll see next year
- good value for Shaheed and good assets to continue rebuild
- just glad to get rid of Penning

The Richards and Polk trades were pick swaps - player and a 6th for a 7th, not a 6th and a 7th. So basically nothing.

You could have had Pickens for a 3rd and his numbers are better than both combined. And you solve our #1 receiver problem.

Another clueless team building post from town. You dont pay top 5 wr money to a wr. Especially on a rebuilding team.

Vele had three years of control left for cheap. Shaheed is an UFA next year and is going to make 25m+ per year.

Pickens is a free agent after this season and will want WR1 money. He’s a head-case and giving him that much money is bound to blow up in our face. Would much rather have Vele on a rookie contract for two more years and draft a WR1 this year or next.

CKM will have a major say in the draft and in FAs. Even the Loomis needs Moore to succeed.
