The best part is this time it’s not carried mostly by gutting the military. Most of the other decreases were primarily military cut backs.

Interesting that Reagan and Bush Sr had the highest overall federal employment numbers throughout their term
It’s also shocking that since the early 90s federal employment is equal to or lower than the 1970s considering our population is much larger today and govt seems much bigger. And why the spikes around the census? Temporary employees to conduct the census?

Biden was not in any federal position much less POTUS in 2020. How could the spike in fed employment happen under him?
