I know the "did Dottie drop the ball on purpose" has caused hours of debate here.
Along those same lines, did the mom in A Christmas Story break the Leg Lamp on purpose?
I say yes. Women are spiteful when they feel their sexuality is being threatened.

You must not be married to ask a question like that. When women don't like something in their house, it somehow gets broken or simply disappears without explanation--------and if you have a dog or cat in the house, the "It got broken" excuse is all the more plausible since they can't refute it.
