Horrible tragedy for all involved.

Will forever be grateful for him bringing the world Titanfall.

Massive loss to the FPS gaming community, and the gaming community as a whole.

Vince Zampella was the CEO of Respawn entertainment and CO-Founder of Infinite Ward

Here are some of the games he directed or played a major role in developing

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2007)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009)

Apex Legends

Titan Fall

Titan Fall 2

StarWars Jedi Fallen Order

StarWars Jedi: Survivor

Battlefield 6

This makes me recall a random thought I had a few months ago.

I saw an interview with Miyamoto and he looked quite old. I realized how we are all likely to be around for his passing in the next decade or two and how significant that is..

We are lucky enough to have been involved in the early Genesis era of video games so we can fully appreciate the founding fathers of the medium.

People in history books will read about Miyamoto much in the same way we read about Mozart, but we were around at the same time he was creating his masterpieces.

I'll pass.

From the details, I'm afraid we're going to eventually learned he was driving while impaired.

Yea the video caption is wrong and Grok is too. That is not an SF90. After the crash, you can look at the rear end and see that it is a 296 GTS

Also, the person they drug away was the passenger who the police report says was ejected from the car and also died. The report said he hit a concrete barrier after exiting a tunnel just the same as the video.

I was curious because, even though I don't know anything about Vince, he doesn't seem like a guy who would have a bunch of bros taking video of him hot rodding.

Regardless, senseless and awful. Wiki says he has 3 kids.

He didn't. A lot of supercars use that highway as an impromptu track, and people stand there to film them.

In the video, look at all of the burnout marks on the road from cars hot rodding there.

Bingo, my earlier post isn't trying to shame the dead, but don't be racing on public streets. There is video, the police have it, i suspect speed is involved. I have a fast car, i occasionally drive it fast, alone, with nobody around. Don't do that with a passenger, or more importantly, if you have kids.

It’s absurd to drive like that not on a track and in a controlled setting.

I’ll never understand people like that.
