Is Sterling Lucas finalized yet?

According to the SC boards he's informed SC that hes gone and has been removed from the coaches group chat

The USCe podcast I listened to seemed pretty positive he's gone. And they were mad that the DL is going with him.

Lsu will probably make it official after bowl game. Our current staff is still coaching that game so out of respect for them.

Who's going with him?
Lucas coaches the edges, not the interior - thats a different position group and a different coach. If you're suggesting Stewart is also leaving, it's possible, but no one in the SC boards seems to think so.
Lucas is a good coach. Hate to see him leave. But I don't expect a mass defection to follow him.

Word I saw was Stewart was going to the portal regardless what happened to Lucas. So it's not definitive he's going with Lucas he will go to the highest bidder.

So, assuming that Lucas is indeed coming to LSU, will he coach interior DL or Peoples? If it's Lucas, does he have experience with the interior?

yeah, not what I am hearing. I don't know any insiders myself but the dude I typically get info from is right most the time. Could be wrong this time, but he said word is it seems like Stewart is going to stay.
That said, I have no clue who we will replace Lucas with, but if they get stewart to stay they must have some names for him.

I don't know if he has interior experience, but that was not his role, at all, at SC. Tackles were coached by former Tulane DL coach (and Gamecock) Travian Robertson, who missed most of the season. He was in an *awful* car accident at the beginning of the season. He has recovered well, however.

Wouldn’t really chest beat too much on this as Beamer is on the hot seat so that’s why Lucas looked for an out. LSU wasn’t the only one who came calling, they were just the most desperate caller.
