FG Kicking: NFL shrink goalposts?

I like what we've seen the past two days from FG kickers where nothing is guaranteed. I think it adds an interesting element to the game and it's more entertaining. I don't think 3 points should be nearly automatic from the opponents side of the field like it is in the NFL. What would yall think about shrinking the goal posts in the NFL?

No thanks. Just make field goals worth more the closer you get.

Somebody on here said put a bar across the top of the uprights and you have the get the ball inside that rectangle
Makes a lot of sense - kickers would have to prevent it from sailing too high which would allow for way more blocks in addition to a much tougher kick

I think what he's hoping for is that it would cause teams to go for it on 4th more instead of kicking those long FGs. And you reward the offense for making it further down the field. Not a terrible idea. But I still prefer when they just miss the FG entirely. Make them harder to make
Kickers are always the record holders for total points scored and they shouldnt be. Theyre fricking kickers. A TD is way more than twice as difficult as a FG. And TDs are a much better reflection of how good your team is than just a kicker. Make them harder to make but if not that then at least make them worth less

You should encourage advancing the ball as close to the ez as possible
