If you were to stop using the Ventus shaft, what shaft would you replace it with ?
And what is the most important quality for you ?
A. Feel
B. Dispersion
C. Distance
D. Hitting certain windows
Thoughts .

I feel like my Ventus blue is much more spinny compared to my tour ad di6 i used before

I’ve played and play Ventus TR Black 6-X, Ventus Black 7-X and Ventus Blue 6-X. Come first of January I’m buying one of the new LIN-Q powercore whites to try when they hit the market.

B, A, D, C
I just moved a few settings and went from a Blue 6 + to a Black 6 + and gained around 5-7 yards on average with tighter dispersion. I’ve never been a fan of the Black but in the new + it has a softer feel than any of the previous models, the previous versions felt boardy and super stiff to me.
I hear good things about TPT, Aretera, and the new Graphite Design line but have not demo’d any of them. I am still hitting old school Fujikura Atmos Blue’s and Red’s in my other woods and have some old Pro95’s around as well.

Side note, does anyone in BR fit ventus shafts? I’m thinking of buying one, but don’t know if the red or blue would be better for me.

I have the newest red + on my 7 wood. It performs but it doesn’t “feel” great to me.
Have PX Denali Blues on my driver and 3 wood and prefer the feel and ball flight over any Ventus I’ve ever been on.
I swing driver 105-110 mph.
That being said it’s ridiculous how many tour players play them so go figure.

The Pro 95 was a great shaft. I played it in my 3 wood for years.
I have the 60 Red Ventus + in my Ping 440 driver.
The performance is ok, but it feels like crap.

Exactly how I feel. It’s like a piece of rebar and believe it’s supposed to have a softer tip than the black.

I would try a Blue 5 or 6 stiff, I’ve never hit the Red the Blue has always been good for me in 5/6 stiff in the driver.
