Aight guys, need some help from all you traveling golfers. Going to the Philippines next year for a destination wedding for my nephew. Planning on getting a lot of rounds in with my brother while I’m there. I really wanna kick his arse with my own clubs.
I have a hard case and can pack them in tight.

Option 1: I check them in with the flight. Risk of damage and/or lost clubs. Also 2 stops on the way.

Option 2: I have them shipped and what I can see from louisiana to the Philippines is gonna be pricey.

What say you golfing board?

I’ve personally flown a ton with clubs and never had a problem. Just make sure you have a case you trust, I have the club glove with the metal rod that has always worked great. Take the head off your driver and wrap it in a few towels and put it in your bag if you’re worried.

Shipsticks is a pretty nifty service. I'd ship them if it wasnt beyond outrageous.

If you fly with them, take any head off clubs when you can and also buy one of those protectors that sticks up above clubs so it takes impacts.

Have you been to PI before? What part are you going to and flying in/out of?

Moving around the islands is NOT easy and I could not imagine trying to get my clubs to different golf courses.

Do you only plan to play that course or other courses in the area?
