They've already been trying to lay down the foundation of fear over the ACA subsidies expiring, they'll probably start putting out feelers to see if that work has borne any fruit yet once they get back from the holidays.
If it polls well they'll try it, if not then they will just piss and moan then vote together on it as some show of solidarity to their voter base leading into the mid-term season.

frick them... The R's caved and gave them what they wanted, a vote on the ACA extension. That failed.
If the Dems do it again, the R's need to stand their ground and let it all burn to the ground.
