2 weeks in a row now, this dude has stepped in late in close games and held it down.
@Tampa, our 2nd string RT goes down late in the game and Sherman steps in and handles his business.
Today, Ruiz leaves with an injury after stinking it up as usual. Sherman steps in at RG….game tying TD drive, then game winning FG drive.

At what point does the coaching staff take the hint and bench Ruiz for good? What more has to happen for that to happen?

Upvote. Sadly, for a first round draft pick, Ceasar Ruiz has been a big disappointment. Maybe he should be the backup center as it was his position in college, but I doubt he would even be a backup on many other NFL teams.
