As of Dec 14, how many football scholarships expected to be open

Thomas, Gilbert, Hilton, Delane, Brown, Payton, Sharp, Butler, Haulcy, Nussmeier, West Weeks, Ramos, Pyburn, Ferguson, Thompson, Gooden, Guillory
Then add in the 8 portal so far (assuming they will leave) and also Perkins and Anderson playing in all-star games, the total becomes 27 as of Dec 14 who are non-roster players for LSU in 2026. Is that right as of now?

You can have 105 scholarship players now. So we're good either way

With NIL rosters aren't gonna be stacked full now and you don't need it you just need to be 3deep at positions with quality players. Just stacking the roster with kids that will never play is pointless to me and a waste of money

Thanks for the update. Apparently, the SEC just voted to do that (going from 85 to 105) 10 days ago.
