The white people did it.

I kid. I’ll watch it. I think Daniel Craig does pretty well with these. They are funny, not really rewatchable.

I really liked the first one. The second one was pretty forgettable.

The lady who was “wronged” in the second one pulls some Medea level unforgivable shite when she torched the Mona Lisa. How did that get by preview audiences? Who said “yeah, that’s cool that she did that”?

The first one was a good one time watch. The second one was so bad I did not bother to finish.

I never saw the 2nd. I’m guessing it’s not necessary for the 3rd?

I feel like Netflix has missed out on hundreds of millions by not giving these movies a full theatrical run.

Oof, those are some dumb movies. If you can’t solve them within the first 5 minutes your parents might be related.

Badass alert!

Has anyone watched yet? Review?

I enjoyed the other 2.
The first was really good, the second was ok.

Knives out- The magical Hispanic maid, if that’s not a dead giveaway you have the awareness of a 5 year old. Who’s her foil, the misogynist white guy.

Glass onion - the genius black girl, again dead giveaway and her foil is…. Rich white guy.

So complicated, you have to be a “badass” to figure it out, or you have to have an IQ over 20.

Rian Johnson says “the worst sin” in STAR WARS is “to be afraid of doing anything that shakes it up.”

“Having grown up a Star Wars fan, I know that thing where something challenges it, and I know the recoil against that. I know how there can be infighting in the world of Star Wars. But I also know that the worst sin is to handle it with kid gloves. The worst sin is to be afraid of doing anything that shakes it up. Because every Star Wars movie going back to Empire and onward shook the box and rattled fans, and got them angry, and got them fighting, and got them talking about it. And then for a lot of them, got them loving it and coming around on it eventually.”

Pretty much.
First one ended with the Latina lording over the rich white people.
Second one was the genius black girl taking down Elon Musk.

Ana de Armas can lord over me anytime.

But Daniel Craig was the brains in the movie. And he's a White Male last i checked.

First one was great. Second was forgettable. Third was watchable. Maybe the fourth will surprise us all.
