Do the assistant coaches have agents like the head coaches do?

so my question is does LSU negotiate with an agent for Elijah Robinson services? Or is it brokered with Lane Kiffin making an offer to hire him as D-line coach. Uncertain as how this works? I am wondering if he got the LSU offer and then went shopping around to use it as a bargaining chip to see who else would want his services. I figure it is natural for any job hunt to see what the best offer and fit for the person seeking employment. Are these offers open ended without specific time line to accept? Or is their a time frame where you have to get a yes or no answer. I have not heard of any next up potential hire. So that makes me wonder why not?

All levels of coaches and the players have agents. A handful of agents control everything to give us the shite show that is college football today. It’s the worst business model one could conjure up.

The vast majority of assistant coaches have agents.
The agents negotiate with the AD's office.
It's quite probable that his agent shopped around for the best offer.
Offers are not open forever. Either the offer has a deadline, or it's withdrawn at some point if not accepted.

Where do these idiotic questions come from? Are people really this stupid? Are just trolling?

Calm your tits. It's a legitimate question that people who aren't glued to this board are curious about.

Why?

Believe it or not I asked the question because I figured this was a place where knowledgeable people could answer questions correctly. So much bull when you do a search and no guarantee you get a accurate answer. I think I got a really good explanation of how it all works which is exactly what i wanted. I got a thick hide what some bullshite guy on the board has to say as criticism of the question is meaningless to me. The thing that makes me wonder a little is why does it matter enough for him to waste time writing a response.

Everyone. Including the players have agents now.

It's a question for people who have no common sense. Why the f would head coaches have agents but every other coach wouldn't? Like there's some magical practical difference.
The fact that head coaches get demoted to lower positions, and vice versa, literally every season, answers the question without having to ask it.

Everybody involved in sports at a high level have agents. High school players as young as freshmen have agents!

So by your enlightened explanation and experience do you think analyst also have agents. How about the rest of the multitude of employees of the LSU sports operation?

I met a girl that helps with the NIL deals with Gorden McKernan’s office. Very nice and informative. Didn’t go into much details, but did answer a few of my questions.
