Would it make sense for LSU to pay someone to hire Kelly?

Let’s use Michigan for an example. Pay Michigan $25 mil to hire Kelly for 5 year $54 mil contract.
LSU lowers their buyout cost from $54 to $25 mil and Michigan gets a good coach for $29 mil.
Seems like a win win

That basically what the offset is. If they paid him $7mil a year. LSU would cover the other $2mil a year. If Michigan really wants him, hopefully we can make deal like PSU did with Franklin and negotiate a 1 time buyout for $9mil or less.
