It has been something to watch... a season of pandemonium with almost all new players and coaches and schemes and injuries and trades... and like days of old when we rarely won a game, I watch the effort in every play. I am totally inspired by this team. The veteran leaders, the journeymen, the rookies.... digging deep when the chips are down... they didn't win the season, and seldom won the day, but with the season down the drain... they bring that fire on every play...

If you take out Demario Davis and AK, what is most encouraging about this team is that all of the players we are counting on are young and are part of the future. Specifically, every rookie we drafted has played meaningful snaps on this team. Banks, Shough, Sanker, Stutsman, Riley and Neal all look like long term pieces on this team.

And Broughton DT returns next year. Sucks he missed the development this year.

I can’t recall, but what’s the consensus on Broughton? Do we think he’s a nice piece? I don’t really remember his name being brought up much other than the fact he was injured.

He had a good camp and was a rotational piece when season started.

He had a quite camp as I remember. Nothing great nothing bad just looked like a rookie trying to figure the pro game. Hoping he hits his second camp running we can use a run stuffer at DT.

When the chips are down and the Saints are mathematically eliminated from the Playoffs, THAT is when the Win Streak happens !!!

Why? Because it's sneaky! It's like the Spanish Inquisition - NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Opponents are relaxed. Saints are out, they figure, easy game they figure, Saints will be half-stepping, they figure then WHAM-O like a Frisbee that hits you in the face THE SAINTS COME MARCHING IN and put together an impressive win streak.

I'm starting to like this particular Saints Tradition. How about you?

You’re seeing a team develop a culture. We have guys like AK, Davis, and Jordan to thank for that.

Let’s hope we can continue to improve and add more pieces in the off season.

Was reading up on Polk and saw this

Happens everywhere

Patriots whiff in 2024 NFL Draft
With Polk now out of the picture, the Patriots have just two members of their eight-player 2024 draft class on the active roster: quarterback Drake Maye and offensive lineman Caedan Wallace. Offensive guard Layden Robinson and depth corner Marcellas Dial are on injured reserve.
