Seems Cam and Demario had a resurgence in this 3-4 defense

I remember fans not liking drafting Cam in 2011 due to him playing in a 3-4 and coming to a 4-3 D. Last year both were dead weight but have played well this year. Are they both FAs after this season? Wonder if we try and bring back 1 more year to give this team a chance to fix other positions?

There’s so much wrong with your post.

People thought he would be more of just a run stuffer, but most fans were good with the pick at 24. Most people were upset we traded up to take Mark Ingram.

Davis led the team in tackles. By a lot. And is the emotional leader of the defense. Jordan had one less sack than Granderson and Young while playing in more of a backup role. They both played in every game.

You’re out of your mind if you think Demario Davis was ever “dead weight” on this team. He’s the best linebacker that has ever played for the Saints. (I know the history and it’s still true) He has produced every year he’s been here and still produces at a pro bowl caliber.

Demario Davis has never fallen off.

Not sure why you all keep trying to say he's has or that he's resurging.

I think most of you just look at his age and not what he's done over the last 9 years.

Jordan, yea he was looking mighty old the last 3 years but this season he's bouncing back.

Rickey Jackson is in the Hall of Fame and played almost his entire career with the Saints except for his last 2 years in San Francisco. I love Demario Davis, but c’mon.

Pretty sure Cam wants to retire. There is a shot he does a 1-year extension to have a sendoff year or if he wants to chase stats (does not seem the type to do this); but he's getting ready for his career after he leaves.

Demario has said he wants 3 more years. I do not know if that comment included 2025; but either way, I can see him signing a small extension to stay here and relieve some of the cap hit that's expected to hit.

Remember when Ricky Jackson, Pat swilling, Vaughn Johnson, and Sam Mills all started the pro bowl...? I used to wait for the offense to be done just so I could watch the defense

Ok, if ya'll feel DD played really well last season than that's fine I felt last year was a down year compared to the past. I'm not even wanting these guys gone. DD may have led team in tackling last year but that doesn't mean he didn't take a step back. I felt improved this year from last.
