We are on the right trajectory with CLK. But I would have also been OK with Coach Cig.

Cig is exactly where Kelly was at notre dame.

Oh really? You would have been okay with the best coach in America that wasn’t an option because he signed an extension and isn’t leaving his school, but if was an option would have been the best candidate that every school would have taken?

What is being done at Indiana is a lot more impressive than what Kelly ever did at Notre Dame.
He has performed one of the greatest coaching jobs in college football history this season at Indiana

I’m happy with my girlfriend but I could make do with Margot Robbie too I guess.

I work with a lot of Indiana alums (we recruit heavily from their Kelley School of Business) many of which are significant boosters or have ties. Consensus is Cig loves Bloomington, the support he's getting, appetite to donate and doesn't need to go to a "big dog" because they are creating a big dog.
NIL is changing the game and the hierarchy between "traditional powers" and "blue bloods" is slowly fading. E.g., Vandy NEVER would have flipped the #1 QB in the country from UGA in the past. Now with some booster power (Vandy has serious money) the playing field is leveling.

Cig got a little Les Miles in him

Even if they slip to that (probably won’t) that’s a pretty good season by Indiana standards. Dude is a phenomenal coach.

The last 2 years, really.
He came in YEAR 1 and had Indiana at 11-2 and in the playoff. That was already a dream season quite frankly.
What he is doing this year is magical. I'm all in on Hoosiers running the table because what Cig is doing is remarkable.
