Best at home laser system for practice?

Looking to get one of the systems where I can practice shooting at home. I’ve seen ads for a bunch of different systems and was curious what the board recommends? Tia

Honestly prob be better off just practicing dry firing and using that money to buy ammo. Focus on your draw, sight picture, and trigger press for dry fire.

So have you used one you’re not happy with?

I'm following hoping for a positive review on some or one. I don't mind spending a little bit on it if it's worth a damn

Agree, I don’t shoot enough but think I would if I had one. Also would make it easier to work with my kids

I've seen some of the USPSA shooters using the Ace VR training system. I haven't personally used it, but it looks awesome on youtube. I think it's around 1K for the whole system though.
I started getting a few airsoft pistols to practice in the backyard. They make them now almost identical to any pistol out there, and with the gas blowback you get a little recoil. Be sure to read the descriptions though. Some of the knockoffs won't fit in the real gun's holster.

I get by with the Mantis dry fire system you clip to your pic rail. Gives me enough feedback to confirm what I'm feeling in my hands.
Curious about an upgraded system too, though for someone who has no training aid, I'd recommend it as an entry.

I liked the idea of the systems like the coolfire system, which you drop in a barrel that contains a CO2 charge which simulates recoil when you pull the trigger. But I've heard mixed reviews on them in practice. I believe you can combine with any laser system. Otherwise, I've never seen much benefit over dry firing and concentrating on my sight being over target before the trigger brakes over. It's the follow up target acquisition I'd really want practice on. Having a red-dot on my carry guns tends to make that very easy.

The laser lite for my 9mm was like $30-40 maybe? It's been awhile. Sends the lightbeam when it's struck. Same as in the target deal in high rotation of FB ads. It may be more benefit in a DA hammer fire situation vs striker fire. Since you don't have to rack the slide to reset the firing pin each shot.

I’ve used one before and didn’t see the benefit. I don’t recall the make.
Ive dry fired thousand of times focusing on the three things I mentioned earlier. They work. Especially becoming competent at drawing from concealment.
Whichever way you choose, good luck
