Weird. He must not be very impressive in person. Ryan Grubb at Bama also without a sniff. Meantime, Will Stein gets a P4 gig after just 2 years at Oregon. Maybe it all comes down to looks

The only two seniors in the two deep are DBs. The front seven is improving. The youngsters are growing up.

An experienced coordinator from a championship team can be a really solid hire
Bob Stoops: before Oklahoma won a NC as DC in Florida (three years there after five at KSU)
Mark Richt: before Georgia was OC at FSU under Bowden for six years
It doesn't always work but nothing always works
