Defensive class is ELITE. We're going to spend some serious $$ on offense in the portal...

Lane will make any offensive group work, but wish we had a few more high school guys. We'll be ok though because we have Lane running the O.
I think this defensive class our of high school is an example of what Saban was talking to Lane about. He's never had players like this on that side of the ball other than last year with a bunch of 1 year mercenaries.

Similar to Kelly's first class. But this class has like 10 top 250, where Kelly's only had around 5 I think.
And the roster was in shambles, where as we actually have good depth around the roster... besides qb, wr now. Areas he was going to target anyways in the portal.
Would have liked to flip a kid or 2, but confident lane will have a solid portal class.

Yeah, flipped wr to replace an existing commit that was told to look around, same for low rated oline kid.

Dline haul is elite…wouldn’t say overall D class is elite.
