Nausea and extreme dizziness..

I took my sister to the ER at Ochsner main campus twice in the last week.
She had sudden dizziness and vomiting totally out of the blue. Had all blood work done and CT scan of abdominal area and MRI of the brain. Also, EKG. Nothing cardiac but also, nothing determined from both visits. She has good blood pressure and cholesterol levels. She is 71 years old and not overweight at all.
Anyone experience this or know of what it could be?

Vertigo
If so, why can't anyone in the ER say that?

Only time I had those symptoms it was from food poisoning. I was sweating like crazy suddenly, started getting dizzy then puked about 6 times.

Vertigo is a symptom, not a diagnosis
She should been screened for BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) & repositioned if it’s positive.

Any allergies, did they check her ears?
Two years ago I had something similar while camping and could barely drive home I was so dizzy. Doc did all the tests but determined my allergies screwed up my equilibrium and gave me nasal spray.
FWIW I was 42, have never had severe allergies, and this only happened once. Only took the spray for a couple of weeks.

Do you recall what the nasal spray was, over the counter or scrip?

Could it be a severe panic attack?
