If you are age 18–54, able to work, and don’t have any dependents, you might need to meet both the general work requirements and an additional work requirement for ABAWDs to get SNAP for more than three months in three years (the time limit). You can meet the ABAWD work requirement by doing any one of these things:
Work at least 80 hours a month. Work can be for pay, for goods or services (for something other than money), unpaid, or as a volunteer

It’s not fair to ask people to work 20 hours a week.
Less than three hours a day.
Are you freaking kidding me?

Only suckers work 40hr weeks these days.

What new skills do they need? Major companies would love to be able to pay someone minimum wage to do menial work and work no more than 20 hours a week. Save on future raises (don't want to mess up their eligibility), don't have to worry about demands for OT, and benefits don't kick in until they start working 30+ hours a week

What they failed to consider is that it equally increased my enjoyment of the holidays so it all balances out.

The the amount of SNAP provided should be proportional to one's BMI.

Woman in video who needs SNAP struggles to say word 'holidays' because the fatness of her neck overwhelms her vocal cords.
