Why would someone give you picks for a player they can draft in the first round after you are forced to let them go?

FWIW, i had the same thoughts after last season, and it didnt work AT ALL.
the league went dead after the season

I worked a lot of deals for picks but I moved my top tier talent, not my lower tier talent.

On the other hand, Krama has it all figured out and we are all clueless rantards so who knows.

to be assured of getting who they want.
and nobes, LE arguing blindly like a rantard doesn't mean i think you're all clueless, or even that he's clueless.
just that he doesn't know how to argue.

i have that option as well.

You've already said you wont move your top tier guys.

i'm not trading lebron or durant for anyone. i'd consider moving amare. I think i can get picks for parker, lopez, calderon, troy murphy, or ray allen. depending on which way i feel like constructing my team.

you are as guarded about your picks as i am about my keepers. And peole have already asked for 3 out of those 5.
why are you so militant about this?
We took two completely different paths to building this years teams as well. And look where it took us.
Would you be surprised

The net benefit has to be realized....would Calderon be better than who I could get with the pick I had to give you and Andre Miller (who calderon would be replacing as a keeper) I dont think so...its not even close.

it's not close for you. there are people out there with shitty or unbalanced set of keepers.

It would be completely reliant on people being idiots....not there's a shortage.
FWIW, I traded Kobe, Joe Johnson, Durant, Crawford, and Iguodala in the offseason.
Lopez, Calderon, and your other scraps dont compare to that.

Take Stout for example....why would he give you a 1st for Calderon?
That would mean he would need to drop Jason Terry or Michael Redd...and he would be able to use the 1st he was giving you to draft Calderon or whoever you dropped.

maybe he will maybe he won't. i'm confident i'm doing the right thing and i have plenty of time to alter my game plan if i need to.
