Could LSU lure them away with big money if Baker leaves?

Jim Knowles might leave for free with that dumpster fire

That being said, he’s over rated

Phil Parker has been at Iowa since 1999, in some role. He’s been their DC for 13 years. He’s 65, and makes 1.9 million a year. He’s an Iowa lifer.

LSU needs to go after Shiel Wood, if Baker takes the jump.

Knowles' defense takes a while to permeate. The first year is often tough. This happened at Okie State as well as tOSU, if I remember correctly.

Stale and the game has passed him and Ferentz by. They benefit greatly from a soft Big 10 schedule.

Jim Knowles was absolute dog water from Ohio State media & fans. That’s why they didn’t gaf about him leaving. They believe him being relieved for
Play calling after the Oregon Game last year. His Defense is way too complicated & too much for high instinctual Defenders for modern CFB. Players come to places for 1 year at a time, his defensive scheme isn’t conducive to that. We should really go out for Matt Patricia or any big fish

Jim Knowles is the highest paid assistant coach in the country. He makes 3.1 million a year. I don’t know him enough to say he is worth that? I’ll defer to others on that. Blake Baker is #2 in assistant pay now that Golding is a head coach. LSU shouldn’t have trouble find a great defensive coordinator for that kind of money.
