Do we think Blake Baker is leaving for Tulane?

They will offer it to him. Hope we get Durkin from Auburn. It's unclear if Golesh will retain him but either way, LSU upping his salary and giving him more talent alongside working with Kiffin already should put him at the top. His fastest path to a HC job is at LSU. Seems maybe Auburn burned bridges a bit with him possibly with this coaching search since he was expected to be a HC candidate. Durkin would be a hell of a replacement for Baker I'd say. Doubt money will be an issue even though Durkin is being paid a ton.

I personally think he should turn it down.
A bigger job will come open at a power five again in a year or few years.
Can't just take a job because it's a job.
Has to be the right job.
Power five job will definitely offer him soon. I think he should hold out for that.
Same way Kirby did, Dan Lanning,Freeman are all guys who are having success.
They just didn't take any job either.

He’s an alumni and probably the most qualified candidate. He’s most likely gone unfortunately

I think he could get a better job after a year or 3 with kiffin, but considering he is a Tulane alum, he's prob gone if they offer.

It'll be the most important decision CLK makes putting next years team together. He just can’t afford to hire a twat waffle like Matt House, must be a Blake Baker type of DC that can come in & hit the ground: recruiting, developing & coach up the talent at an extremely high level.

I do. People want him to stick around but the last guy in that job just landed UF. If Baker goes there's and has some success then he'll get a major P4 job as well soon

Give me Durkin. I believe in Baker and believe in hid system but when your defense struggles as bad as we did with Weeks out against everyone without weeks still has me skeptical on Baker as being elite. Just saying
