Most of the media likes the idea of LSU because Louisiana has a unique and special culture, the food is great, and the place is fun.
What they don’t want is LSU dominating college football. They feel like that throne belongs to other schools.

I mean this when I say I don't listen to Finebaum anymore. I haven't in many years, but wanted to listen to the reaction to the Kiffin news and was surprised by most callers defending Kiffin. It was quite refreshing really. Most callers of other schools defended Kiffin and said Ole Miss should be thankful towards him.

And it really even pisses him off more that Nick Saban told him to take the job. I’ve never been one of these people that say poor LSU and everybody hates us, but there’s a lot of people that dislike it because they know when they’re little bitty hearts but just is gonna put us back on top.
