agree, i think Saban was a big part of this happening.

I think he'd be a great AD, but I can understand him not wanting to put up with the BS when he can make plenty of money without it.

I still think if Lane stays at Ole Miss then Saban re-enters the picture. He was letting Lane and LSU work it out.

From the CBS Sports story -- among others -- it's apparent Saban, Carroll and Sexton helped steer Lane to LSU

You mean the same ESPN analyst has still been employed by Bama as an advisor has had an office in Tuscaloosa the entire time he’s been working for ESPN?
