Not that it matters in general. But it's nice seeing that not everyone is a whinny bitch.

Is the NCAA calendar wasn’t completely fricked up Kiffin would never have been in the position he was in.

Most of these networks and shows have very liberal producers and GMs. I’m sure a narrative has been sent out to “bash” LK

In addition, it’s THE college football news right now.

Nobody really gives a shite except the parties involved.

Its a news cycle: "booo Lane Kiffin" then "Kiffin did what he had to do"

All click driven and tomorrow with something else.

Kiffin is the victim of his past actions. I’m not saying he has no culpability in this, but what is he supposed to do if he wants to take a better job? The reality is the NCAA calendar has led to this upheaval. The way Kiffin has left past jobs and ended his tenure elsewhere is leading to people blaming him entirely for this situation.

Right. Many fans (and coaches for that matter) have grumbled about the NCAA calender since the portal windows and ESD were moved up a few years back. First, it was big disruption to the post season because players started opting out. What we are seeing now, with these pre-bowl/playoff coaching hires is in large part a snowball effect of the ESD and early portal windows. These schools and coaches want their coaches in place to put themselves in the best position for next season. LSU and Kiffin both attempted to mitigate the negative effects it would have on OM for the playoffs, but OM was a detriment to themselves by not allowing it. But again, this is only highlighting the bigger issue that is the NCAA calendar.

The winds blow, someone will always go against them. It’s all for the news cycle.

Dusty and Danny brought it up and basically said the mega national guys need to chill with the takes because the Sumrall and Morris situations are no different. Only difference is the ADs for their respective schools let them coach. If he’s allowed to coach I think it’s a lot more quiet today from the outrage standpoint.

He took more money and a better situation that most everyone that is bitching about it would take in a heartbeat. He’s being handcuffed to a one game guarantee as opposed to his future at LSU. It’s trivial to stay at that point.
