The wide receiver coach. Those Ole Miss receivers the last 2 years are almost uncoverable and they catch everything

Not going to lie don’t know much about any of them. Some OM fans I know were hoping to keep Weiss Jr. So I’ll take that as a win!

Hankton was such an awful coach. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did alongside Davis. Constantly rotating 20 WRs every play. Georgia warned us how bad of a coach he was. Did he develop anyone at LSU that amounted to their hype? Nabers/BTJ were kinda already heavily developed by the time he came in.

I'm convinced a big reason guys like Brown and Anderson ended up a bust from the portal is this guy. Anderson was a 1000+ yard WR his freshman year you can't convince me he was as bad he was this year due mostly to anything but coaching.

Bingo. I was so pissed that we had absolutely NO answer for Deuce Alexander. He caught the ball against tight coverage seemingly all game against us.

After watching Sloan and Atkins run an offense that made Les Miles look innovative… the continuity of Lane and Weis is nice

I'm glad they ditched the S&C coach. LSU looked poorly conditioned and soft to me constantly. I've watched some Ole Miss games and their physicality will take over a game if need be. Lane is anything but soft with his offense. If he finds that running the ball is working he will do it 10x in a row and just impose their will on a defense. That's the type of mind we need here. I miss the physicality we had under Miles. Lane has such a great feel for the game and he definitely understands you need OL first before you can do anything.
