Remember the feeling when Saban went to Alabama?

I can only imagine the sting is just as bad or worse for Ole Miss.
As much as we hated it, we understood when Saban went to Miami. But to come back to Alabama was a slap in the face and created a huge rivalry that lasted until he retired.
With Lane coming to LSU, what’s brewing between these two programs is about to be epic. This game is going to be even more intense for years to come. Next year in Oxford will be wild.

I will finally understand how my father used to describe the Ole Miss/LSU rivalry back in the 60’s/70’s

I realize a lot of LSU fans feel this way, but I never have. The timing sucked for the Alabama job to come open when it did. It was a perfect storm that reminds us what LSU would have been if Saban stayed. I just credit to Saban for building the foundation that puts LSU where it is today. JMO
