What is Frank scared of?

Dude has nothing to lose. Our OL and QB are not ideal but at least quick slants to the middle and an occasional deep shot could have helped today. He is a good dude but a really bad head coach. The OC and Davis should stay in that shithole they call Norman.

He's a guy that got thrown into the head coaching position and was in waaaaay over his head.
It's understandable how inept he's been as he's never been anything NEAR this big of responsibility.
It is what it is. He'll go back to where he was before and we'll transition to someone who can handle this role.

Last drive
3rd and 5 -- run up middle
Playing to get an all in short yardage 4th down play. That's dumb
Call timeout. Come out in a tight set keeping the #1 run D in the country all at the LOS. Throw a lame arse flood route. If it wasn't batted down, it would have gone for no gain with 2.defenders waiting. Sharp would have tried to hurdle them
That play call was scared, weak, but most of all, it was stupid.

Game on the line, what does common sense tell you to do? Call your best play, for your best player. We decide to have Bauer Sharp run a route to the line of scrimmage and hope the defense doesn’t guard him. Can’t make it up.

It was hard to watch. As soon as we knew what OU's defensive plan was, we should've killed them in the intermediate passing game. But no.
