call Lincoln Riley and call it a day. This is batshit crazy to allow one guy to hold two programs hostage for this long. Jesus is the only that I ever heard of that could walk on water!

Kiffin isn't holding us hostage. Ya'll act like he owes us something. Owes you something. You people are tiny little people. We need a coach. We fired ours in the middle of our season. We want him first. He is still playing this season. That is our problem, not his.

Lane isn’t holding LSU hostage. He wants to coach the playoffs and LSU is willing to let him do it. That’s not hostage. He’s the guy we want and verge will do that for him.
At this point there is no way he is holding Ole Miss hostage because he’s refusing to sign the extension. Writing is on the wall. He’s just calling their bluff. Let him coach or fire/suspend or whatever.
Everyone is bitching about Lane wanting his cake and eating it too, but Ole Miss wants to set an ultimatum they don’t really want to enforce. Go ahead, fire him.

Had an interesting conversation with a friend who is more in the know than me about good coaches in college. Tim Polasek of North Dakota State was some one to keep an eye on. Always has his team punching above their weight. Very solid. Not for us at this point unless LSU wants to look beyond the P5 ranks.
