Lane wants to be the coach at LSU, but also lead Ole Miss in the CFP. He could just hire a staff and have them start recruiting.

Almost all coach's contracts have bonus money for reaching certain goals. If he announces he's leaving their is no way I'd let him coach and get those bonus checks.
