While also a playoff head coach likely won’t coach his team

What a ridiculous not serious sport. Bring on the NFL playoffs

it’s not a serious sport anymore

-the committee and their ridiculous logic

-the arbitrary dates with signing day and transfers that completely conflict with post season

-the constantly expanding playoffs and just making post season of the sport worse, and now leading to conference championship games meaning nothing and actually being worse for teams

They lost to an 8-loss team, lost another game at home by 25, went to OT against Kentucky and went to OT against Mississippi State (and yes, also, lost to OSU, too).

Miami would be ranked 18th-20th if they scheduled and beat FAU instead of ND. It helped Miami.

And you 100% know to be a fact if they played rice instead of Ohio state they would be in

His overall point is “pointless”

If Texas didn’t play Ohio state and instead played a horrific team they would 100% be in

Add that to the fact Miami beating ND still doesn’t put them ahead of them and it makes ZERO sense to ever ever ever schedule any decent team. It’s complete stupidity to do so

Yeah Miami opened the year beating Preseason #5....Jumped Miami to #5....then #4....Then #2...Then Miami started to struggle and lose but still stayed in the Top 10...then lost again to unranked SMU and still hovered around 15-18.

Miami has gotten plenty of help and love in the Polls and not surprisingly partly from the Committee's high opinion of Notre Dame...

Of which Miami hangs their hat on from week 1.

I think it’s worthwhile to play a decent out of conference game. It is not worthwhile to play Ohio state bc you just aren’t going to beat them
