UGA got significantly impaired by the A&M loss.
Ohio St. and Indiana have nothing to gain.
These games are solely for profit and are a relic.
It's time to end this money grab. Now. Today.

Just you wait for the 4-team conference championship playoff

As competitors everyone wants to win the game, and it’s bad for the “culture” of a program to mail one in…but I don’t see how these games, at some point, don’t look like the last week of the nfl season when a team has clinched a top seed.
I think the participants in both the B1G and SEC games are locks, but if my team is participating and we rolled out the backups I would be more prone to calling it genius than stupid.
The “first round bye” advantage of being a top 4 is eliminated when you are playing a CCG. So you just start the playoffs at a neutral site coming off a game against an elite opponent, instead of starting the playoff at home against a good opponent. Texas A&M made out like bandits losing yesterday. They get to skip playing bama or Georgia and will get a 10-12 seed at Kyle Field to open the playoffs.

SEC and B1G should rest their entire two deep.
This is so dumb.
This is so dumb.

Part of the reason I don't watch anymore
Conferences got too big and too nonsensical
Conferences should be 10 teams max so each team can play each other every year
Playoffs are dumb

Conference championships , SEC, Big10, B12 and whomever can end ranked high enough
should be playoff play in game,, thats where we're headed

Lol. Indiana has much to gain; it would be a massive recruiting advertisement for them to take it to Ohio State and win the Big Ten, something they haven’t done in damn near 60 years.

In the BCS and 4 team playoff it was very rare to make it without winning your conference.
However now when conferences get 3-4 bids if not more, what's the point?
It's completely underwhelming.
It's like winning the conference championship olin college basketball. Nobody really cares.
