Though he did not say take LSU job Saban hinted he should. Herbstriet hated that answer as usual.

The media for some reason hates the thought of LSU being successful in football. Idk what they got such a hard dick for us for but no matter which way we went there would never be anything positive to say about it.

At Ole Miss you are having to rebuild from the portal every single year. At LSU you can recruit and then supplement from the portal. NIL has narrowed the recruiting gap some, but the advantage is still in LSUs favor.

I think Saban set the stage. I wasn’t sold on Kiffin leaving - now I think he flies to BR.
Too bad he won’t go with playoffs (or a possible SEC championship) on his head-coaching resume.
Saban is wrong about one thing though. I won’t blame Ole Miss for not letting him coach any further. Why give a guy more time to recruit your best players away? Plus, he needs to be a 24/7 LSU guy immediately.
