LSU is good either way

First, I think Kiffin is going to be the LSU coach, but let's keep it together if he isn't.
It's going to be a shot in the arm and predictable 12 team playoff appearances for as long as he's here if we get Kiffin. LSU needs both desperately.
But, if he doesn't, LSU will be fine. We don't know the coaches and agents who have contacted Verge to express interest if it doesn't work out with Kiffin.
Unfortunately, we hired a successful coach whose heart wasn't in it. It was considered a great hire until it wasn't.
Our next coach, be it Lane or someone else, will be hungry for the opportunity. Relax. It's going to be fine either way.

We are going to have the best players in the country every year pretty much. Just need a decent coach and another natty is bound to happen.

Yeah, I hate to declare that. But my own emotions went on a roller coaster from IDGAF to we Ride or melt. I have never been into a CC dive like this one. I have been lurking since Miles era. Chatting since O and now I’m sucked in. I really need to take a step back.

Agreed. We’ll get someone solid and that’s all I care about. We need some fire that O brought with him.
Also, if Lane does in fact sign with us, while he’s still coaching and having O run the recruiting while he’s trying to take OM to the promise land - I’m good with that too.

Everyone wants to make Kiffin and LSU the bad guys here. But OLE MISS has decision to make on how they handle December and after for their program. If Kiffin chooses to finish the year and ole Miss allows it, it’s no one else’s business.
