I sure hope this was a rando, and not a hired body.
These crickets are way too brazen. This has happened on an increasing basis to people with political ties or perceived political purpose here in D.C.
Within a mile of my workplace 3 times in 8 weeks there have been shootings. One was luckily a shite-poor shot.
I’m ok with Martial Law at this point to clean out gang members and those with warrants, as well as political dissidents on both “sides”.
This nation needs more saving than any of us thought, it seems…

Farragut West Metro Station is several blocks from the White House. The headline is for clicks. It's like saying someone was shot on the Parade Grounds when it happened in The Bottoms.
Regardless, this is horrific and it will be very interesting to see how this played out.

That one photo looked like a head shot from the blood if that photo is real.

All depends on what the Arming Order is.
A guess? I'd be surprised if they were carrying live rounds. And if they were probably no mag in well.

For the most part the National Guard troops in Washington just walk about in certain districts. They aren't involved in any real confrontations or law enforcement activities. This person who shot the guardsmen was an attacker, no doubt about it, and should be dealt with as such.

I have no idea.
MP would make more sense considering the location, but when I hear National Guard I don't really think MP. But I wasn't in the Guard, only active duty.

We mission planned moving MP units into .Nola I was shocked how many NG MP units there are or at least we're back then.
