The Georgia election interference case against Trump and co-defendants was dismissed on Nov 26, 2025, after prosecutor Pete Skandalakis, who replaced Fani Willis, filed to drop all charges, citing presidential immunity and lack of viable path. Judge Scott McAfee approved.
Jenna Ellis (JE), a Trump lawyer, pleaded guilty in 2023 to aiding false statements, receiving probation and agreeing to cooperate, which some viewed as betraying Trump. Charges against her were also dropped.
