It's probably a made up thing on tigerdroppings, that the group think morons latched on to.
Its hard to believe that anything breaking today would be good for LSU (or Florida, whichever you believe). Really thinking about it:
1. Ole Miss is set for a massive game that may determine if they make the playoffs. It will certainly decide if they get home field. Its a huge moment for that program. It does them no good to leak anything, unless it is that he is staying at Ole Miss. Why would they create that distraction for themselves?
2. All indications are that Kiffin wanted to coach this game. Why would he leak anything at this point versus waiting? It makes no sense from his side.
3. LSU/UF would risk pissing him off by leaking something from their side two days before a game he wants to coach.
I'm guessing if you hear something today it will be either that he is staying in Oxford, or the same "leaks" that you've been hearing that he has signed here, there, bought houses, kids going to school etc.

Also could be looking at what happened with the Auburn rumors last time. Ole Miss pushed him for a decision before the Egg bowl. Probably similar situation here where they push for a decision for Thanksgiving

I mean, it's kind of bad for both LSU and Ole Miss to be in the dark. If Lane is leaving, Ole Miss needs a coach. If not, we need to pursue other good options before they're off the board.
If Lane is hoping to collect a buyout by being terminated, that may also be a reason why he's not rushing this process. He also wants to coach his team.

People have been saying this breaks open each consecutive day starting last Friday.
They’ve all been wrong.
Notably: AYS and Ruffino who was adamant this “gets ugly” on Monday and then “ju-i-cy” on Tuesday. None of this has happened.
I’d really expect nothing until Friday.
