E’erbody getting paid

And he’s right - team loyalty will be a thing of the past with very few exceptions

Heard that as being players can leave and they have no loyalty toward a coach any longer.

So basically, it works both ways now.

They are paid mercenaries.

Yes, he is saying they are all year to year. So just play this one out and roll with it wherever you are next year (coaches and players).

Kiffin is coaching 1 season at a time. He is expecting his players to play 1 season at a time. Thats his “live in the moment” mantra.

He’s right. It’s not like the old days. HS recruiting means less because kids won’t sit behind talent and wait their turn. More kids play for the name on the back of their jersey instead of the front.

Ole Miss fans took that as some kind of trolling over the last week. It isn't. He is sincerely still leading this year's team.

What a candidate and insightful statement by CLK. Without saying it, he is letting everyone know that money buys loyalty in today’s college game. More importantly, money buys player loyalty in today’s college game. If your program can’t, I won’t commit to it year after year on a long-term basis, then a program can’t be successful. I’ve been saying this for over a month, he completely understands the limitations at OM. Can they put it together one out of every two or three years – – – maybe. Can they put the funds together year after year, every year? Hell no

Yeah don’t really feel sorry for the players anymore now that they’re getting paid and can transfer at will. shite some of them are entering the portal even when their teams make the playoffs
