I wonder if Arlington is Jerryworld or Globe Life?

Slash, McKagan and Rose are joined on GNR’s current lineup by rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Isaac Carpenter (Awolnation, Loudermilk) and keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese. Reed, though not an original member, is the longest running member aside from Rose.

I love GNR but Axl’s voice is shot. He sounded amazing in the Superdome back in 2016 in the first year of the “reunion” but he’s gotten worse every time I’ve seen them since. If I can get free tickets I will go but I’m done paying massive amounts to see them. At least they play 3 hours plus & usually announce a decent opener the closer they get to the show.

I saw them in 2021 and 2023 at Metlife Stadium and his voice was fine both times. Mammoth opened the first show. The Pretenders opened the second and were excellent. There was also a surprise opener before that when Andrew Dice Clay came out and did about 25-30 minutes of stand-up.

I've come to love stadium shows. I never used to go to them. I have no idea about ticket prices, I'll find out when I buy mine.

Oh man I like being closer to the band, closer to the bar and closer to the bathroom.

When I was young, I always bought general admission tickets and would be right up front on the barricade. Too old for that nowadays, I'll take an elevated seat somewhere in the middle where I can get good sound and watch the screens. I like the vibe of big stadium shows. I like all venues, really, they all have appeal.

Guns N’ Roses is my favorite band of all time. I’ll probably pay out the nose and see them for the third time in Arlington or San Antonio.
