Prison Sex and Disposition were on the setlist when I saw them in September of 2001. When I saw them in October of 2002 only Disposition was. Fantomas and Meshuggah opened, respectively.

They are playing some awesome shite in Kiwi country....

There was a rumor out there they were going to play Eulogy, but never did.

I honestly wonder if this is somewhat of a farewell internationally.... Seeing videos of Danny lately and man, he is looking old and grizzled.

They need to bring those setlists to the US. I'd prob go check out a handful of shows if they did.

They've been pretty open about not getting any younger, but they're all beasts in their own regard. Maynard's voice has never been better, and I suspect that might have something to do with it. Seems like they're just having fun.

Maynard is easily the healthiest of them all with his Ju Jitsu and healthy dining...

I love watching Chancellor play, dude has so much fun out there.

Just saw an interview with Chancellor and an Australian reporter.

Question of new music came up and he said him and Danny were in the studio a few weeks back banging things out.

This is simply untrue. He has stated in different interviews that he can not hit the same notes as he once used to, which is why they are very selective of which songs they play. Age catches up with us all, and it has done so with him.

Now that doesn't mean his voice is not still great, but better than ever? Come on.

I'm not sure it's really worth arguing over.
He's certainly adjusted for age, but his voice is as strong and solid as ever. I've seen him a shite-ton in concert and he is more even, and musical now than he was in the early 2000's. There's less screaming and growling and more tone and notes in what he's recorded in recent decades. Some of these singers you hear as they age are cringy. I love Rush but Geddy trying to hit the notes of his youth is kind of painful. I suspect Maynard has either got vocal coaching or just learned better techniques

He sets the setlist per the interviews I've heard based on his vocal ability. Expanding the live setlist is a great sign.

Danny Carey is my freking hero. Top 5 drummer of all time.

One of the few drummers I wont even attempt to play on drums. Just a completely different level of complexity.

Justin said him and Danny were in the studio two weeks ago jamming and that they are always working on new material. Now whether that ever gets released is another story, but he confirmed they were in the studio working on new stuff.
