Ha. It didn't take Shreveport long to go back to airing the Cowboys at the expense of the Saints.

They've done that for as long as I've lived here

Shreveport has always been a Cowboys market since their inception. Nothing changed when Saints joined the NFL.

That sux, when I was assigned to Barksdale back in 90's, my hate for cowboys grew because of that reason, local stations airing cowboy games over Saints games, so I see they are still doing that BS...smh

It's still amazing that people don't understand how television markets work.

Where in Shreveport might be showing the game?

Bossier city resident and wondering why in the hell the game is at 3:00 today? Ain't like these two teams are game of the week.

They went several years during the prime Payton era where they would show Saints over Cowboys. For a few years, they let the fans go online and vote and the Saints never lost a single vote.

Exactly, a lot of the broadcast goes into East Texas , Southern Arkansas and a little bit of Oklahoma.
Can't be helped, just wish NFL would allow the CBS affiliate to broadcast Saints game at same time.
So instead of downing the area, have some empathy for the Saints fans that live here.
Hell we also contribute to the taxes that keep the Saints in New Orleans.

The NFL doesn’t have any say in it. It’s strictly a network decision

Yep.
Shreveport is coupled with Texarkana as a TV market so essentially, it covers three states with Shreveport as the hub and transmitters located mainly north of the city in Logansport between the two cities.
Funny thing about Texarkana is that it is split pretty much down the middle between Texas and Arky and some Arky residents get a break on certain taxes by living there.
