Can any of our sauces validate the detail of LSU “caving” on the buyout number?

I saw that too. Kiffin is known for bolting left and right so I’m sure we asked for a high buyout if he leaves. He wanted it to be lower, we want him here more than we want a high buyout so we lowered it.

I remember seeing it too. Something like Lane wanted LSU to lower the buyout clause in the coming contract that Lane would be signing with LSU.

Somewhere this blurb was dropped about the process of lsu and Kiffin resolving an issue about lane’s buyout number, lsu wanted it higher obviously and I even think the word caved was used.
