of them talking with a guy trying to get his team in the playoffs.
In before Ole Miss posters pretend they haven't contacted his people yet.

I tried to explain this to them. It’s an ugly game with the current timelines.

I don’t think anyone blames LSU for going after Kiffin? If I were LSU I would be a little frustrated he didn’t just leave today, the sooner he gets down there the better off y’all will be and ole miss will be for that matter.

So you blame Kiffin, but I doubt you will blame Sumrall for the same thing. Correct?

I didn’t blame Kiffin. I don’t think he’s handled this all that particularly well and I’m not sure that’s even debatable but I don’t blame him at all for allegedly accepting the job or whatever term you want to use until official

You are in a small minority of Rebel fans.

Maybe so, but I also understand the traditional hierarchy of the SEC and which programs have the most resources, etc. We are a much better overall program because of Kiffin and will probably continue some level of success post Kiffin because of it.
Next year could be rough though just due to timing of all of this.
If most fans were being honest, we are just pissed because we finally had a chance to do something special, and I don’t mean championship but maybe a CFP win or two and it gets blown up before the egg bowl and we are looking at a distracted team that could fall flat and never even get the opportunity.

Which one will complete the job?

You think we are beating Ohio state? I’ll have what you’re having

I know it’s a weak candidate cycle overall, but I do not get the fascination with Sumrall. There is a lot of risk there. He has never been more than a LB Coach at a P5 and he’s never coordinated or head coached a program 1/4 the size of an SEC team.
There have been plenty of legitimately good G5 coaches who just couldn’t make that leap. I know there’s upside, but there’s just a LOT of risk that him being a good coach isn’t enough if he can’t effectively scale up to an SEC program.
Some team is going to be very happy they pick up Glen Schumann. He’s been trained by Saban and Kirby and been at those programs for title runs. That’s a coach who has been prepared to run a high-level SEC program by two of the best to ever do it. Just look at the success of Dan Lanning. This guy has been prepared to be exactly that. Anyone looking at upside should be looking at him.

I think he’s handled this as well as he could with the nonstop questions.

From an LSU fan since the late 80’s, early 90’s, I can tell you this is what being a fan is all about. Dinardo wasn’t the best, but he was the coach that helped bring LSU back into NC contention. Maybe that’s what LK will be for yall. One step at a time at a time fellow fan brutha

I mean Tulane is basically New Jersey Ole Miss.

Let me ask you this. How exactly do you handle Kiffins situation well? Seems like he was in a lose lose with someone regardless.
