They would be stupid not to if he is leaving.
There were rumblings yesterday that some thought Strickland was in Oxford talking to Lane or his people. Apparently it was members of Florida's AD office meeting with Lane's people at some undisclosed place. Some people on the Florida side believe they have Lane locked up and can't fathom how he could want to go to LSU. Some Florida people believe that Florida has faded down the stretch. No one knows for sure until there is a formal press release by a school.
